Edward WESTON (1886 - 1958) - est un photographe américain très connu pour ses natures mortes de coquillages, fruits et légumes (poivrons notamment)... En 1932, il fonde avec Ansel Adams le groupe "f-64". La bourse remportée lors d'un concours "Guggenheim Fellowship" lui permet de sillonner les routes américaines.American photographer well-known for his shells and vegetable studies and landscape subjects. he co-founded Group f/64 in 1932 with Ansel Adams. Edward Weston became the first photographer to receive a Guggenheim Fellowship for experimental work in 1936 and he spent the next two years taking photographs in the West and Southwest United States |
